Pikler Inspired Outdoor Play with Rosie Stocks
For parents & caregivers with little ones under 3yrs
I invite you to join me on Monday mornings during term time at 10.00 am until midday at Temple Druid Roundhouse site.
At 10.00am we will meet in the parking area and walk together up a grassy path to the space above and behind the Roundhouse. Here we will spend the morning together.
To begin we will sit and share some tea and healthy snacks.
As we feel refreshed and settled, play will naturally begin. I will act as your guide and support you to enable your child to discover themselves and their environment through self initiated and undisturbed play. It’s really helpful if you can leave toys at home /in the car and arrange care for your dog.
I ask you to remain responsible for your child throughout the session.
We will be outside for the whole session (what ever the weather) so it is really important that you and your child are comfortably dressed to meet the weather conditions. I will bring herbal tea. Please can you bring something healthy to eat and cups for morning snack time and everything you need for nappies /changes of clothes. There is a compost toilet here however please be able to take any disposable nappies home.
£6.00 per family per session/ £5.00 per session ‘block booked’

Since the completion of the sale we’ve had a busy old time here at Temple Druid!
The stormy weather had blown down a tree that we needed to get cut up and off our neighbours land, so we borrowed a 4X4 and trailer and the guys set to work!
Some goats have arrived and are settling in well with our neighbours goat…Branwen and Pablo have joined Maisie!
The children got to have a cart ride with Jilly and Billy…they were so excited!
Sadly we lost a couple of our members…Shadow the cat passed away and Boo our oldest chicken, so there were 2 little funerals within days of each other, the children gathered offerings and sang beautiful songs to mark their passings.
The swing rope was moved…Tom took the job of tree climbing to reposition it!
Here are the children having fun in Ishwara’s play house in the garden. They are planning to open a Kids Cafe in the summer!
Rachael’s workshop was trailered in, the blokes had quite a mission moving it! It’s in the process of being clad in wood now.
The sunny weather has now arrived….hopefully our wellies can go away for a bit….probably not!
We hope some of you reading this might join us for our Volunteer Days-
Volunteer Weekend Dates for 2016-
